The Project Brief

The Rottnest Fast Ferries crew approached Think Studios to re-develop their entire brand identity. The look of the brand had to be modern and dynamic in order to be competitive. Rottnest Fast Ferries believed that their previous branding was quite outdated.

Our Approach & Solution

A new brand colour palette was chosen working close with the requested brand values of being modern and dyanamic. The lime green and light blue colours that were chosen allowed the brand to be distinguishable. The brand mark is composed of a modern logotype and a dynamic shape. The logo was accompanied by three symbols. These symbols were used as secondary branding elements throughout. This being the whale, used for the whale watching, the bike, which is used for bike here, and the boat, which symbolises the ferry.

After developing the initial brand identity the team was asked to produce all print collateral, this included; Letterheads, business cards, ticketing, vouchers, and a presentation folder. These were all produced according to the brand guidelines that were set.

Along with the print collateral; Rottnest Fast Ferries needed the design of brand new uniforms, bike & vehicle wrapping and boat signage, which all focused on the initial brief and brand identity created.
