The Project Brief

Think Studios was approached by Metals of Africa to re-brand the company in-line with their change of business direction. The new company name “Battery Minerals” was then decided and agreed upon with all shareholders. Battery Minerals plans to focus on graphite and aligned minerals used in the lithium ion battery sector. We were also briefed to produce relevant company stationery, a brand style guide to ensure brand consistency, and a website design with various features.

Our Approach & Solution

A brand Identity was created for Battery Minerals. The use of a fresh green colour represented the eco-friendly aspect of the brand’s direction whilst the grey reflects the graphite mineral. The veins of a leaf was used as a texture which reinforces the eco-friendly company direction. A stationery kit was created with a clean and neat grid system. A responsive website was then developed. Icons were created in the brand colours which aided the usability of the website making navigation very easy. Live feeds were used to give the user exact prices for the battery minerals share (BAT).
